A rainy day – what’s with this rain in the desert? Hope the plants like it. Stopped at Sapillo CG right on the CDT. All Stays calls it a group CG, the sign didn’t say anything about groups only. It was more like a dispersed camping area, with pit toilets. Pretty spots in Ponderosa Pine. Rick goes for a long run up the CDT. He almost makes it too our lunch spot. I take a nap and don’t motivate for an outing. Rick said the trail went thru some pretty “slick rock” and would have been very ridable.
