Happy Birthday Emily!!! Wish we could celebrate with you.
We wake up to a cold, foggy day and decide to press on. Shopping, showers, lunch and a new step stool in Red Lodge. Big day. We land at a very pretty campground on Rock Creek. The campsite is in big Lodgepole pine, we have a spot right on the creek. Rick goes for a run to Lower Basin Creek. I enjoy catching up on my journal and relaxing at camp. It is time for Rick to be back though. Knock on wood. He came back – right on schedule.
Lunch at a classic cafe. Good burger. Best in town acording to the waitress. I love the old signs.
Great campsite along the West Fork of Rock Creek.
Another fire drill awning take down. We had just decided the evening seemed calm when thunder boomed. It was pouring before we could get out to take it down.
