I picked Rick up at the Bozeman airport. We had dinner with Heidi and the next day headed out. The map below is our approximate route. We went thru Yellowstone and the Tetons on some roads that are now closed for the season – so google maps wouldn’t let me show our actual route.
Less driving, more Level 3 camping and and playing with Scott and Joyce – a very fun trip.
I went down a week before Rick so I could take the Red Ants Pants timber skills class – with teacher extrodinaire Heidi. My first van solo. The class was great and I had fun getting a feel for the area around Bozeman, in the two days after while I waited for Rick to show up. City driving in White Sulpher Springs was just how I like it i.e. hardly another car in site.
