Cottonwood Wash, Capital Reef, Utah

Oct 9, 2017

Scott had a bit of back and forth to get the big rig out of Cedar Mesa – but impressed everyone by making it.

Looking for a real slot canyon we broke camp and headed out to hike Burro Wash.  If looking for some slotty slot canyons Burro Wash is a great choice.

Some of the slots got pretty narrow – or slotty as we called them. Burro Wash was one of our favorite.

Rick going up and over some of the tight spots.

Assuming the NP campground would be full we backtracked to Cottonwood Wash and boon-docked on BLM land.

We pulled off for the night at Cottonwood Wash.
